Ensure your references are ready to shine when you need them.


Select three individuals: a colleague you've worked with, a supervisor you reported to, and someone from your professional network (excluding relatives). Take a proactive approach by updating their current contact details and giving them a heads-up that they might be contacted.


Here's a tip: While it's essential to have your references prepared, you don't necessarily need to provide them unless the recruiter specifically asks. Some applications may require it, so having the information ready can save you time in the long run.
