Have your interview questions ready
If I had to pick one piece of advice for interviewing, aside from the obvious of appearance and having your work area set up, it would be to have your questions ready.
The deeper dive on this point is that it shows that you know your boundaries and goals, and that instead of explaining yourself and defending your position, you’re cutting to the chase to what really matters which is, taking care of yourself. It shows IQ and EQ. And when you’re in control, you’re less apt to have an awkward pause or stammer. And more likely to be candid and engaging.
