When in Doubt, Ask for Clarification
Sometimes during an interview, you’ll get a vague question that makes you scramble.
Instead of making an assumption about what the interviewer is looking for, take a pause and either ask if they if the want something specific or rephrase the question back to them to see if you understood it correctly.
This will show that you’re actually listening and will also help to keep the interview more like a conversation than an interrogation.
